Greater days ahead for the Luxury Wedding Industry of the Middle East as some of the greatest minds of the trade in the region came together to celebrate the launch MEWA (Middle Eastern Wedding Alliance) powered by ILEA (The International Live Events Association) at the London Project, Bluewater Island in Dubai.

A first of it’s kind initiative in the region, the alliance consists of the founding members;  Arun Bablani and Rahul Kumar (Vivaah Weddings), Nikki Rutherford (weddingsonline.ae), Emma Pope (EMAAR Hospitality Group), Vishal Nagdev (Event FAQs), Mallika Singh (Fête Events), Sameer Rahman (Flair Event Services), Sherin Al Alami (La Clé) and Zainab Al Salih (Carousel Events), who are supported by Paul Berger (Arena Group Middle East & Asia), current President of ILEA.

A novel consortium under the ILEA umbrella, the MEWA will represent the ever so booming wedding Industry of the Middle East. The alliance would not only do the much needed job of regulating this vast industry in the region but also pave a path of more opportunities and engagement.

Apart from providing access to exclusive networking events, MEWA would also focus on the knowledge sharing aspect for the debutants and aspirants of the industry in the form of consultations, mentorship, and educational & training sessions.
